MANRS

SYNAPSECOM participates in the MANRS programs for Network Operators and CDN / Cloud Providers

SYNAPSECOM
supports MANRS

MANRS requires from Network Operators to implement the following:

  • Action 1: Prevent propagation of incorrect routing information
  • Action 2: Prevent traffic with spoofed source IP addresses – Filtering
  • Action 3: Facilitate global operational communication and coordination
  • Action 4: Facilitate routing information on a global scale – RPKI
  • Action 5: Promote MANRS to network members
[Read more about Network Operators MANRS requirements here]

SYNAPSECOM adheres to all of the MANRS principles above.

SYNAPSECOM strongly encourages our partners and customers to join MANRS.
MANRS outlines four simple but concrete actions that network operators should take:

Filtering
Ensure the correctness of your own announcements and of announcements from your customers to adjacent networks with prefix and AS-path granularity.

Anti-spoofing
Enable source address validation for at least single-homed stub customer networks, your own end-users, and infrastructure.

Coordination
Maintain globally accessible up-to-date contact information.

Global Validation
Publish your data, so others can validate routing information on a global scale.
